Meditation is the timeless practice of turning inward—calming the restless mind, withdrawing from the senses, and awakening to the divine consciousness within. 

Paramahansa Yogananda brought to the West the sacred science of Kriya Yoga, a powerful meditation technique that enables the practitioner to attain direct personal communion with God.

Group meditation is a castle that protects the new spiritual aspirants as well as the veteran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism.

 

SRF offers resources for beginners and experienced meditators alike, including guided meditations, online sessions, and access to the SRF Lessons — a comprehensive, step-by-step study course on Kriya Yoga and spiritual living.

The SRF Home study lessons are a 9-month in-depth course that teaches you how to live a balanced and successful life by awakening your connection to the Divine. After learning and practising the basic techniques during the first 9 months of receiving Paramahansa Yogananda’s personal instruction in the Lessons, those who wish may apply for initiation into Kriya Yoga.
