Sydney Meditation Centre of SRF is part of the worldwide spiritual family of Self-Realization Fellowship founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda (1893–1952) to disseminate the ancient science of Kriya Yoga meditation to all nations of the world.

Our meditation centre was formed in 1951 with the purpose of promoting spiritual growth through group meditation and spiritual fellowship. We welcome all to a sanctuary of peace to share the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of one of world’s most acclaimed spiritual classics, Autobiography of a Yogi.

Since yoga is based on practice and experience rather than on adherence to a particular set of beliefs, followers of all religions can benefit from the spiritual teachings and meditation techniques practiced by SRF.

Meditation

But you must convince yourself; you must meditate and create that environment.
